Bruce Lynton BMW is the major sponsor of the Men's and Ladies Club Championships in 2008, the most prestigious member event of the year.
2007 was a very special year for the Men's Pennant Team with Southport Golf Club winning the Gold Coast District Division 1 Pennant Flag for the third year in a row! This history breaking achievement could not have been possible without the unwavering support of Vinnie's Restaurant and we thank owners Peter and Carolyn Weston for their support in 2008.

In August 2007 Mark McHugh Body Works finalised a partnership with Southport Golf Club and as a result became one of the Club's largest sponsors. The first week of March 2008 was the Mark McHugh Body Works Week of Golf with Mark McHugh sponsoring all six events of the week! Mark McHugh Body Works have spent over 3 million dollars constructing their state of the art body works facility at nearby Bundall (Strathaird Road). As they cater for the premium vehicle with market leading service and results, they are the perfect match with the premier member-owned private golf club on the coast, the Southport Golf Club.
