From Brisbane:

Take the M1 Motorway to the Smith Street exit.
Follow Smith Street to the second set of lights and turn right into Wardoo Street.
Follow Wardoo Street straight along, which will turn into Slatyer Avenue.
Go past Bronberg Plaza to the next set of lights which is the entrance to the Southport Golf Club on your left hand side.

From Coolangatta Airport :

Upon leaving the airport turn left onto the Gold Coast Hwy.
Follow the signs along the Gold Coast Highway towards Surfers Paradise travelling approximately 20 kilometres.
When you arrive in Surfers Paradise follow the signs that lead to Chevron Island. This is a left turn left off the Gold Coast Highway onto Thomas Drive which takes you onto Chevron Island.
You will drive through the shopping precinct of Chevron Island including three small roundabouts and across the bridge that connects Chevron Island with the Bundall / Southport area.
After the bridge go straight through these lights and onto Slatyer Avenue which is home to the Southport Golf Club.
Turn right at the third set of lights into the entrance of the Southport Golf Club.
